Delete Your CertStack Account

Or ask for some of your data to be deleted

Last Updated: September 10, 2026

You can delete your CertStack account yourself from inside the app, or ask us to do it by email. You can also ask us to delete some of your data while keeping your account. This page covers all three.

Delete your whole account from the app

  1. Open CertStack and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings, then Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deletion starts immediately. Your sign-in is removed right away and your study data is removed within 30 days. This cannot be undone.

Delete your whole account by email

If you cannot open the app, or you no longer have the device, email us from the address on the account. We will confirm it is you, delete the account, and reply when it is done.

Delete some of your data and keep your account

You can ask us to delete part of your data, for example your AI tutor conversations, your practice exam history, or your flashcard progress, while keeping the account itself. Tell us which data you mean and we will remove it within 30 days and reply when it is done.

Your subscription

Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Google Play, so cancel there first: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, and cancel CertStack. Otherwise Google Play may keep billing you for an account that no longer exists.

Timing

Account access ends immediately. Personal data is deleted within 30 days.

More detail on what we collect and why is in the Privacy Policy. Questions go to info@certstack.app.
